GOLF DAY SUCCESS

The annual St George's Golf Day took place on the excellent course at Hazel Grove Golf Club on Friday 23rd April 2010.  Gary Robinson, MD was joined by 70 players, consisting of clients, suppliers and friends who all enjoyed the day and the glorious weather.

Guests on arrival were provided with a complimentary club clean service before collecting their welcome packs (and bacon butties!) and heading onto the course for a 1pm start.

As well as the main tournament there was also a number of additional challenges for the golfers including the chance to win a mini for a hole in one on the 13th, longest drive on the 14th and three nearest the pins.  It was Jon Hall and his team from C&C Insurance that scooped the 1st prize place with an impressive 125 points.

The players were joined by an additional 60 guests for a fun-packed evening!  After a formal meal, comedian Max Pressure entertained the guests, with the night being rounded off with music by Ged Graham.

Sinead Robinson, Marketing Manager said "Once again the day was a resounding success.  Feedback from clients has been excellent with the majority asking to be put on next years list!  We'll definitely be flying our St George's Day flag again next year".

TERRY STAFFORD

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Terry Stafford, Director, Complete Demolition Ltd.  Terry, aged 65 passed away on Monday 29th March 2010.  Terry worked within the industry for many years and was well-known and respected.  He will be sadly missed by family, friends and colleagues.

Funeral service to take place on Friday 9th April, 1pm at St Peters Church, Stockport Road, Levenshulme, Manchester M19.  The family have requested no flowers, however donations (if desired) to be made to Sarah Matheson Trust Fund.  Further information available upon request from Sinead Robinson 0161 273 3130.

COMPLETE DEMOLISHES HEYHOUSES ESTATE Mayor of Fylde, Cllr Paul Rigby joined residents and staff of New Fylde Housing, as they defied the weather and celebrated as Complete Demolition commenced work on the Heyhouses Estate in Lytham St Annes.   The total project that will cost in the region of £10m to complete will see the Heyhouses Estate transformed and in turn make a hugely positive impact on the surrounding area. The work is being carried out for Southdale Homes and includes full asbestos removal, decontamination of cavity wall installation prior to soft stripping then full demolition of 80 properties on the estate.  The demolition makes way for 111 new homes. Gary Robinson, Managing Director comments “we are confident that the project will run smoothly and be completed on-time and to budget and look forward to working alongside Southdale Homes in the future”.
