Environmental Statement
The Directors and managers of Complete Demolition Limited acknowledge that its undertakings have an impact on the environment. Employees are therefore instructed to ensure projects for which they are responsible continue to comply with environmental standards. This Environmental Statement is available to all employees and to members of the public.
We undertake to act in accordance with all current environmental legislation, especially that which is applicable to the demolition industry. In particular, we aim to prevent pollution of air, land or waterways by ensuring that;
· All employees are made aware of our environmental impacts;
· Waste products are closely monitored and all materials are sorted and recycled where possible with waste being removed by licensed contractors only;
· Noise pollution is reduced by ensuring plant, tools and equipment are adequately silenced and regularly maintained;
· Consideration is given to the surrounding environment including the neighbours, plants, wildlife and waterways;
· Dust is kept to a minimum by using damping down methods;
· We expect all employees to co-operate with environmental issues and to ensure best practice is followed.
The Directors and Management will monitor compliance with environmental issues in all the areas where we work. This policy will be reviewed once a year for continual improvement of environmental performance.
